(Adukhan) 44 : 3
إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةٍ مُبَارَكَةٍ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنْذِرِينَ
Indeed We have sent down It in a blessed night, indeed We are always Warner.
It is told in verse 97: 1 that We have sent down It in the night of fixing the Destiny; and in verse 2: 185 it is told that Adhikr-the Repeated Reading-is sent down in the month Ramdhan. Since Adhikr-the Blessed Book for Repeated Reading-is sent down in that night, that night became blessed. Since the Impartial Lord has taught the mankind Adhikr and has given freedom either to be grateful or ungrateful, it is the duty of each individual to decide his destiny whether to Paradise or to hell from this world itself by utilising Adhikr-the Balance, Criterion and the Insight.
